FLIGHTS
Most airline going to general caribbean destination would get you. Agent are normally quite handy and painless but if you are going to google it these airport codes can come in handy.

Money & Currency: East Caribbean Dollar (ECD)

Travelers cheques (in £pounds not US$) are safe and easy to use. You may need an ID to cash them at banks and other places.

If you wish to take East Caribbean Dollar, they can be obtained from American Express Bureau de change around the UK.

Cash points are readily available and are linked to a national network that most likely includes your bank here in the UK. Do check the daily withdrawal limit before you depart, and ask whether you need a new personal ID number.

If you are traveling with pounds stir ling only make sure you have some small noted eg. £5 & £10 makes it easier to change at shops and cafes.

 
Departure tax
You will have to pay a departure tax at the airport when leaving St Vincent and the Grenadines. This tax amounted to 40 EC$ (per person).
 
Hot! Hot! Hot!
So don't forget short  pants and short sleeves tops, lots of cotton,
linen (the keep cool sort of clothes) broad rim hats, umbrella to shade sun (not a black one) and of course for rain.
Health & Insurance

Insurance is always a good ideas especially to claim on lost items like cameras and damage luggage.

Mosquitoes and general bug repellent a must. It would also be a good ideas take something to sooth bites but if you forget you can always get a bottle at a pharmacy in SVG.

Sunscreen lotion may be required if your skin is sensitive to the sun. check with a pharmacist for factor information.

 
PASSPORT INFORMATION 

A valid passport is required by all for you entire journey. Do check it against the dates you are traveling.

Keep a photocopy of you passport in a separate place, if your passport gets lost or stolen this may speed up the process of getting a travel document from the British High Commission.

If you have dual nationality (British/Vincentian) and you are traveling on your British passport it may be a good idea to take along some proof that you are Vincentian e.g. Birth Certificate, SVG ID card.
